Jump 2 IT Media have been working alongside the Clearance Paving team since 2011 and, since then, the online presence of their website has achieved vast improvements.

We were initially contacted by Clearance Paving to improve their online presence in April 2011, as they were keen to ensure that it reached out to its target audience more effectively than it previous was doing.


In addition, the company did not have the budget to advertise themselves via paid methods, such as Google Adwords, therefore we had to use our SEO skills to the maximum in order to reach the targets that we had been set.


The Solution:

The website required full on-site SEO, as none of its pages had been correctly optimised, so we ensured that it was optimised from top-to-bottom – including Meta data, H1 tags, improving keyword density, amongst other areas – before we started to build up the online authority of the site. This was achieved by gaining high-quality, industry-relevant backlinks into the Clearance Paving site.


The Result:

Fast-forward one year, and during the quarter of April-June 2012, the site had received 20,401 visits, with 18,071 of these coming via organic methods, which showed positive progress when compared against the same period in 2011.


Since then the site has gone on from strength to strength, with Clearance Paving now dominating Google’s organic search results for all of their key targeted terms, whilst it is also showing strongly for a large number of generic ‘paving’ terms, which they had never expected to be found for.


For the quarter of April-June 2017, the site achieved a total of 56,014 visits, whilst a huge 46,456 of these were gained through organic search. whilst online sales had risen by over 140%. This is despite the site having a limited number of products, due to them becoming available when discontinued or damaged stock becomes available.


All-in-all, it’s fair to say that the Clearance Paving team are extremely pleased with how the SEO campaign has improved their online sales and overall visibility levels, and we expect more of the same going forward.
