YouTube Handles Coming Soon

YouTube has announced that it will be introducing handles to make it easier for members of the community to find and connect with each other.

The handle will be unique to the user’s channel and will allow other YouTube members to tag you in comments, community posts, and more.

The ability to choose your handle will be gradually rolled out and, according to YouTube, they will send users an email and a notification in YouTube Studio when they are able to select their preferred handle.

Users who already have a personalised URL will automatically have a handle reserved for them. Fear not though, if you are unhappy with what has been choosen for you, you can easily edit your handle to something more suitable.

Handles will officially start on November 14th 2022, so there is plenty of time for you to select your preferred YouTube handle.
