Last month, Google unveiled its final plans for a luxury £1 billion headquarters in Kings Cross, London, which included luxuries such as sleep pods, sports pitches and 200 metre running track on the building roof.
As you would expect, designers are boldly stating that it will be one of the best places to work in the world. No surprises there then!
As well as a rooftop running track, the landscaped roof terrace will also include ‘gardens and meadows’, as well as a rooftop cafe that provides free food and drink to help employees relax and unwind.
‘Pause areas’ will be included inside the open plan office, which will be surrounded by trees, plants and sleeping pods.
Google has submitted its plans to Camden Council for approval, two years after their previous plans were ripped up for being too boring.
I think it’s safe to say that they are unlikely to receive too many problems this time around!
