The recent outbreak of Coronavirus has shaken the world and has left many businesses feeling unsure of their future, whilst employees are clearly concerned about losing their jobs.

The UK Government has already announced a number of packages that have been created to ensure that no businesses are closed as a result of the virus, whilst the vast majority of companies have taken the decision to allow their employees to work from home, where possible, and all of us at Jump 2 IT Media have taken similar action.

What Are We Doing?

Working From Home – To ensure the health and safety of our staff, all of the J2IT team are now working from home and are able to work at full capacity. As long as we have an internet connection, we are able to complete all tasks required, so if you are one of our many clients, please rest assured that work on your website is being carried out as usual.

All Business Travel and Meetings Postponed – Again, for the health and safety of our team and our client’s, we have taken the decision to postpone all business travel and customer meetings. Instead of these face-to-face meetings, communication will be carried out on video conference calls and/or telephone conference calls to ensure that our clients are still able to discuss their SEO, Google Ads, social media or website design campaigns with us.

No Face-to-Face Staff Meetings and Gatherings – Similar to the above, our staff will be communicating via telephone, video conferencing, and other forms of online messaging. This enables our team to regularly discuss client campaigns without any interruption.

Self-Isolation – In addition to the above, our staff members are also self-isolating to reduce the chances of them being affected by the Coronavirus. All being well, this will mean that our staff members remain fit and healthy throughout the coming weeks and months, ensuring that there are no disruptions to the service that we provide for our clients.

It is clear that we are all especially a very difficult time at the moment, whether it be individually, collectively or economically. However, we all have to be responsible, pull together and do the best that we can in this tough situation. If we all do this, we will all succeed and thrive once again.

Stay safe and we will see you all soon!
