2017 is almost over, and what a year it has been for Jump 2 IT Media!
Not only has the company continued to grow and gain a number of incredible clients, but there have also been a number of personal achievements made, too. From Lisa, our social media manager, running TWO half marathons, to J2IT celebrating our 10th year in business and the company making donations to Derbyshire Blood Bikes and Bank House, here are our top moments from the past year.
Run Lisa Run! Having never ran more than 7 miles before, Lisa achieved the incredible feat of running two half marathons this year. Firstly, Lisa took on the Derby Ramathon in June, before completing the Birmingham half marathon in October. Now, she’s already planning her targets for 2018, so we expect to be writing more about Lisa’s running achievements throughout the coming year.
J2IT Turns 10: In 2007 our co-directors, Rob and Jamie, took the brave move and formed J2IT and, as they say, the rest is history, as the company celebrate its tenth year in business in 2017. Over the past decade the company has grown with every passing year and, as the majority of our business comes from referrals, highlights how happy our clients are with the services that we provide.
If the next ten years are anywhere near as fun then we are in for a very enjoyable ride!
Charity Donations: In November, we decided to make two £250.00 donations to charities within the Swadlincote area, which is where Jump 2 IT Media are based. This was our way of giving something back to the community that our staff live and work within, and this saw us donating to the very worthy Derbyshire Blood Bikes and Bank House, both of which provide an invaluable service to the local community, whilst we were also blown away by all of the volunteers that we met during the process.
As a result, we plan to make more donations in the future to local charities, so there will be more about this throughout the coming year.
Rob Reaches a Special Birthday: This December, our co-director, Rob Massey reached a personal milestone as he celebrated his XX birthday! Of course, we could not possibly share his actual age online, but let’s just say that he wishes that he was celebrating his 21st again!
Of course, the year contained numerous other high moments – too many to mention in truth – and we cannot wait to make more incredible memories at Jump 2 IT Media HQ over the coming year.
In the meantime, we we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
See you in 2018!
