Google recently announced that there will be a complete overhaul of the AdWords interface, with a live demonstration taking place on May 24th.
The image below is a screen shot of an Ad Schedule window at the campaign level, although it’s hard to make out the changes in great detail. However, all will become clearer later this month once the live demo has taken place.
The reason for the design overhaul was to make Adwords more user-friendly across all devices. It is being built with Material Design, the design language Google uses for many of its consumer-facing apps like Gmail and Maps, and – according to Paul Feng, AdWords product management director at Google – the redesign will take between 12-18 months to complete.
Webmasters; are you happy with the decision to change the design of Adwords, or can the overhaul not come soon enough for you?
