Google Malware Detection Software
This week Google announced that it has added malware detection software to Webmaster Tools in order to help website administrators locate and remove malicious code.
It was stated on Google's security blog that the malware detection software will help website owners to clean their site of any malicious HTML tag, JavaScript, and Flash files that may have been injected into the site by hackers.
Webmasters will see a list of the pages which have been flagged for malware distribution and samples of the malicious content that Google's software has detected.
Google's Luca Ballard said "We understand the frustration of webmasters whose sites have been compromised without their knowledge and who discover that their site has been flagged.""
In addition, a recent announcement made stated that the Firefox web browser is soon to feature technology called 'Content Security Policy' which has been designed to block XSS hacker attacks from websites that have been injected with malicious code.
