Google Instant Live in UK?

Many people in the UK have been aware of Google Instant for a fair while now, but many of those, until recently, had never experienced Google’s latest search engine enhancement. Until now.

That’s right. Google Instant has recently made an appearance on many of our computer screens and we want to know what your thoughts are. Has it been worth waiting for? Does it actually help you when carrying out searches? Is it just a complete waste of time?

Don’t Know What Google Instant Is?

Google Instant does exactly what it says on the tin. As you are typing in the search bar you will notice results suddenly appearing on your page. So, for example, if you are searching for ‘Website Optimisation’ then you may have already typed in ‘Webs’. By this point Google will have instantly given you a page full of results based around the word ‘Webs’, and as you keep typing then these results will constantly update until you are either satisfied with the results given or until you’ve finished typing your desired term.

Just a Test?

Over the last couple of days though it has become apparent (to me at least) that Google Instant no longer appears to be running at present. So, were the Google Instant results that I, and many others, came across earlier in the week just a trial run?

We'll just have to wait and see.
