Keyword Spamming
Keyword Spamming is a technique used by companies who practice Black Hat Optimisation, and is the process of littering page content with the targeted keywords.
So for example, if we wanted to target ‘Website Optimisation’ we would incorporate a paragraph of content that maybe look like the following:
‘Jump 2 IT Media are website optimisation specialists who offer a wide range of solutions to help improve your online performance.’
The above paragraph is how your content should read, as it contains no keyword spamming. This is because Jump 2 IT Media are a completely ethical SEO company.
However, a company that uses Black Hat techniques would create content such as:
‘Jump 2 IT Media are website optimisation specialists who offer website optimisation products, including website optimisation, website design, and much more. Please contact us for more information on website optimisation.’
Paragraphs such as the above example of frowned upon by search engines such as Google, and using techniques such as this will only have a negative impact on your site.
