Meadowbrook Montessori School
Background:
Meadowbrook Montessori School was founded in 1989. It has grown from 6 students to over 120, supported by approximately 28 members of teaching, administrative and specialist staff.
The school teaches according to the principles and philosophy of Maria Montessori and caters for children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years.

The Challenge:
Meadowbrook contacted us in July 2008 to ask us if we could help them make some changes to the structure of their website and smarten it up to give it a more consistent feel.
They did not want to spend a lot of money on developing a completely new site, but did want a website that they could use more effectively for delivering information about the school as well as being a resource that would help to attract more potential students.
Primarily, they wanted to work with a company who they felt would be responsive to their needs and who would be able to make regular updates to the site for them when required at a reasonable cost.
The Strategy:
Initially a number of changes were made to the site in line with a brief that Meadowbrook supplied. These changes ranged from cosmetic ones, ensuring that the colours used matched the school colours more accurately, to changes to the menus and structure of the website to make it more user-friendly.
Additional pages were also added offering more information on the school's activities and training courses.
To make the website more visually appealing, more images of the children at work and play were also added throughout the website and a special section was incorporated to showcase photos of the students and their most recent activities.
Further regular updates have been carried out over the months, as requested by the school, to ensure that the information on the website is always up-to-date - whether this is the calendar for the term ahead or the latest school news.
The Results:
The website has now become a useful tool for the school. The information that it offers is both relevant and current.
Students and parents are able to view information such as term dates and the school calendar and to see what has recently been happening at the school. It is now a resource that the school are proud of and are happy to direct prospective students to for further information.
